Preheat oven to 350˚ Fahrenheit.

Whisk three eggs.

Mix butter, sugar, and half the eggs.

In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, and cornmeal.

Add dry ingredients to the sugar, butter, and egg mixture.

Then add the remaining eggs, milk, and vanilla.

Pour the mixture into a 1.5 quart (approx. 6 cups) casserole baking dish and bake for an hour-and-a-half.
