Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Sugar
  • 4 Tbs. Cocoa Hershey's
  • 1 Cup Evaporated Milk
  • 4 Tbs. Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and chocolate cocoa powder until they are no lumps.
  2. Add 1 cup of evaporated milk and mix well.
  3. Add to the stove and begin to cook until it comes to a boil, reaching 240 ˚F, stirring constantly.

  4. Once it reaches temperature, stop stirring and remove from the heat.
  5. Wait until it gets to 220˚, then add butter, vanilla, and salt.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and stir.
  7. Pour out into a prepared 9" x 12" pan.

  8. Wait until it cools, then cut into squares.
